Religions for Peace co-President Swami Agnivesh also serves as President of the World Council of Arya Samaj, a Hindu movement stressing the unifying message of peace found in different religions. He is chairperson of the Bonded Labor Liberation Front, former chairperson of the United Nations Trust Fund on Contemporary Forms of Slavery, and a member of the International Peace Council.
